NGP GAP90-ME GapGuard Fire Door Meeting Edge and Perimeter Gap Solution | Gray Primer
The National Guard Products GAP90-ME is the GapGuard meeting-edge and perimeter gap solution for wood and hollow metal fire doors. NGP lists it as Meeting Edge and Perimeter Gap Solution - Wood & Hollow Metal. Catalog GAP8 kit is a 20-gauge formed metal edge (powder-coated primer gray, embossed UL mark), #10 TEK and #10 x 2-1/2 inch SMS, and GapGuard Fire Caulk for wood-door applications. It closes excessive clearance up to 3/8 inch. Door removal is not required. Vertical-rod exit devices and flush bolts are a certified application as printed by NGP.
Sold as an 84 inch stick on this listing. Head-and-jamb GAP90 and top-gap 9990 are separate listings. Fire caulk is required on wood to retain the UL listing as printed on GAP8.
