Door Filler Plates
Door filler plates are used to "blank out" unused lock preparations in steel doors. Using a professional-grade filler is critical for maintaining the fire-rating of a door after hardware has been removed. Our inventory includes circular drive-in plugs and rectangular plates for various preparations, including 86-cutout (mortise) and 161 (cylindrical) holes. Frame Filler Plates
Frame filler plates (or frame blanks) are designed to seal off unused strike preparations or hinge pockets in hollow metal frames. Filling these voids prevents air infiltration and is required to maintain the frame’s fire integrity. Most frame blanks come pre-primed for painting or in stainless steel for high-moisture environments.
Hinge Shims
Hinge shims are the most effective way to correct a sagging door or improper clearance without the need to rehang the entire opening. These thin, precision-cut spacers fit behind the hinge leaf to slightly shift the door’s position, resolving "door bind" and alignment issues. Scar Plates
Scar plates (also known as remodel or repair plates) are designed to cover damage or oversized holes left behind when switching hardware styles.
