NGP 9990 GapGuard Fire Door Top Gap Solution | Brushed Stainless
The National Guard Products 9990 is the GapGuard fire-door top gap solution for openings with a parallel-arm closer. NGP lists it as Fire Door Top Gap Solution - Up To 180 Minutes. Catalog GAP7 kit is a #304 brushed stainless flat plate on the pull side, an intumescent L-shaped door cap on the push side, stainless end caps, and #6 x 3/4 inch stainless SMS. It closes excessive clearance at the door top up to 1/2 inch on hollow metal and wood fire doors rated up to 180 minutes.
Sold as individual sticks (36 Inch, 48 Inch). Head-and-jamb GAP90 kits are separate listings and do not cover a parallel-arm top gap.
