Dorma FTHD Flush Transom Bracket (DS / SPA)
The Dorma FTHD is the heavy-duty flush-transom bracket for DS and SPA arms. Price List 38 lists it at $75. The 8600 brochure (printed p.29) says use it when flush transom conditions prohibit the normal soffit bracket.
The 7400 note says FTHD mirrors the 8600 part. This page is the bracket only.
When do I use FTHD instead of PFT?
PFT is the flush-transom bracket for standard parallel arms (P86 / PHB family). FTHD is the heavy-duty flush-transom bracket for DS and SPA arms.
FTHD vs NFHD?
FTHD = flush transom, DS/SPA. NFHD = narrow frame (depth under 4-1/2 in), DS/SPA.
