Lock Operation Detailed

  • Latchbolt by grip either side.
  • Both grips always free.

The Corbin Russwin LB-ML2010 is the bare ML2000 Series heavy-duty mortise lock body (case only) configured for the Passage or Closet function ANSI/BHMA F01. Price Book No. 42 page 106 Lock Only sells this as trim key LL (Lever x Lever): it includes the lockcase, armored front, strike and screw pack. Cylinder(s) and thumbturn lever are not included. Order the complete lockset when you need levers, roses, or escutcheons on the same opening.

Passage Function -- What It Means

The Passage or Closet function (ANSI/BHMA F01) retracts the latchbolt by grip from either side. Both grips are always free. There is no cylinder and no lock. This is a non-keyed latchset.

Institutional Grade Features and Benefits

  • Case only -- LL Lever x Lever. This listing is the lockcase, not a complete lockset. Rebuild an existing ML2000 opening without buying new exterior trim.
  • What ships. lockcase, armored front, strike and screw pack, per Corbin Russwin List Price Book No. 42 p.106 Lock Only.
  • What does not ship. Cylinder(s) and thumbturn lever are not included.
  • Grade 1 chassis. A156.13 Series 1000, Operational and Security Grade 1
  • Handing. Specify LH, RH, LHR, or RHR. The lock case is quick reversible.
