Rockwood 630 Solid Brass 4" Dutch Door Surface Bolt

The Rockwood 630 is a premium Dutch door surface bolt engineered for both high-end residential and functional commercial applications. Crafted from solid brass, this 4-inch bolt is the industry standard for securing the top and bottom leaves of a Dutch door together, or for providing auxiliary security on standard doors and cabinets. Its elegant half-round design and superior finish make it an ideal choice for office partitions, service counters, and residential entries where both form and function are required.

Heavy-Duty Security & Architectural Refinement

• Solid Brass Construction: Forged from high-quality brass for maximum corrosion resistance and a substantial, weighted feel that plated steel alternatives cannot match.

• Non-Marring Fiber Gasket: Features a unique internal fiber gasket that provides smooth slide resistance. This ensures the bolt stays in the retracted or extended position without slipping, while protecting the finish from scratches and marring.

• Tactile 1" Diameter Knob: The oversized knob is designed for an easy, comfortable grip, making it ADA-friendly for users with limited hand dexterity.

• Deep 9/16" Bolt Throw: Provides a secure engagement into the strike, ensuring that Dutch door leaves remain perfectly aligned and securely fastened under pressure.

Versatile Installation & Specifications

• Dual Strike Options: Each unit is supplied with both a universal strike (surface mount) and a mortise strike (flush mount), allowing for flexible installation on a variety of door and frame configurations.

• Half-Round Profile: The 5/8" half-round bolt offers a low-profile, classic aesthetic that complements both modern and traditional hardware suites.

• Standard Stock Finish: Available in a high-luster finish to match existing architectural hardware. Note: BSP (Black Powder Coat) and US10BE (Dark Bronze) are available by quote.
