Integrated Security for Living Spaces
The 10XG53 offers a versatile locking profile ideal for residential-style commercial doors. The outside lever is locked or unlocked by an interior pushbutton or by a key from the outside. A key in the outside lever will always retract the latchbolt. For safety and ease of use, rotating the inside lever always provides immediate, free egress and automatically releases the pushbutton. To prevent unauthorized entry, the deadlocking latch protects against "shimming" attempts, while the freewheeling lever option (standard on most 10X locking functions) prevents damage to the chassis if the handle is forced while locked.
