Pemko 303AV Standard Perimeter Gasketing with Vinyl Insert

The Pemko 303AV is an architectural-grade rigid jamb weatherstrip designed to provide a high-performance seal around the perimeter of commercial door openings. It features a durable aluminum housing equipped with a Vinyl (V) insert, making it an exceptional barrier against air infiltration and fire. This gasketing is engineered to seal gaps up to the depth of the insert, ensuring a snug, compliant fit for listed steel frames and wood core doors.

High-Performance & Life Safety Features

• Durable Vinyl (V) Seal: The vinyl insert provides a reliable and cost-effective seal, ensuring long-lasting performance in standard commercial environments.
• Positive Pressure Fire Rated: Fully tested and approved under UL 10C standards, making it suitable for steel doors rated up to 3 hours and wood doors up to 20 minutes.

• Air Protection: Effectively blocks the passage of drafts and unconditioned air, helping to maintain a comfortable and energy-efficient building environment.

• Corrosion-Resistant Housing: The mill-finish aluminum housing provides a rigid mounting base that withstands the rigors of high-traffic commercial use.

Pro-Tip for Commercial Compliance

The Pemko 303AV is the industry standard for remediation when a door frame has excessive gaps that prevent a proper fire seal. For a professional installation, ensure the aluminum housing is mitered correctly at the corners to provide a continuous, unbroken seal. While vinyl is an excellent standard choice, for openings exposed to extreme temperatures, consider the Pemko 303AS which features a high-temperature silicone insert.
