Pemko 18100DNB Nylon Brush Sill Sweep - 1" Black Brush, Dark Bronze

The Pemko 18100DNB is an architectural-grade nylon brush door sweep engineered for high-performance sealing of gaps up to 1 inch. Encased in a premium Dark Bronze Anodized Aluminum retainer, the dense Type 6 Nylon bristles are designed to flex and conform to uneven thresholds and floor surfaces. This profile is a favorite for retail storefronts and industrial entrances where blocking light, air, water, and pests is critical.

High-Performance & Durability Features

• Extended 1" Brush Length: Specifically designed to bridge larger-than-average gaps, providing a consistent seal even on significantly unlevel floors.
• Superior Conforming Seal: The dense nylon filaments conform to every contour of the sealing surface, offering a complete barrier with minimal closing force.

• Weather & Pest Protection: Effectively blocks the infiltration of wind, rain, snow, and light. The dense bristles naturally repel rodents and spiders, making it an excellent choice for perimeter security.

• Positive Pressure Fire Rated: Fully certified under UL 10C (Fire) and UL 1784 (Smoke), ensuring your facility remains compliant with strict life-safety building codes.

• Extreme Environmental Resilience: The brush remains flexible down to -40°F and is UV stabilized to prevent the degradation commonly seen with vinyl or rubber alternatives.

Pro-Tip for Retail & Commercial Entryways

The Pemko 18100DNB is the industry-standard choice for aluminum storefront doors that have settled or where the threshold is no longer level. The 1" brush length provides enough "reach" to seal gaps that standard 5/8" brushes cannot touch. For a professional look, the Dark Bronze finish is specifically paired with a black nylon brush, creating a uniform appearance that hides dirt and matches bronze-anodized hardware.
