PDQ MR212 OJEW Wide Escutcheon Single Dummy with Chassis Trim - Grade 1
The PDQ MR212 OJEW is Single Dummy with Chassis trim for the PDQ MR Series. It provides fixed, non-operating lever trim -- there is no latch, deadbolt, or operating mechanism -- for the pull side of an opening and to visually match active MR Series mortise locksets on closet doors, storage rooms, and single-side dummy applications.
This version is supplied with a mounting chassis (a backing/mounting component -- it is not an operating mechanism).
The Orlando (OJ) lever is solid forged brass with a clean, architectural aesthetic on a J-Series Wide Escutcheon in a US32D (630) Satin Stainless finish. Its "return-to-door" design is ADA compliant and helps prevent clothing, bags, or straps from snagging on the hardware in busy corridors.

Single Dummy with Chassis trim mounts a fixed lever on the pull side of the door with no operating mechanism:
- Rigid outside lever.
EW Wide Escutcheon Trim
This is the EW wide-escutcheon version. The PDQ MR Series price list (effective March 3, 2025, page 13, "J Series Rose and Escutcheon Lock Adjustment") lists the J-Trim escutcheon in two widths:
- EJ -- Standard Width Escutcheon: 1-3/4" W x 7-5/8" H.
- EW -- Wide Width Escutcheon: 2-9/16" W x 8" H.
EW is listed as a lock adjustment -- an addition to the EJ list price -- so the trim, mounting and door preparation are unchanged; only the escutcheon plate is wider. PDQ publishes a single escutcheon door-prep template, W53506 Escutcheon Lever and Ball Knob Trim (MR211), which is not width-specific -- the EW uses the same door preparation as the EJ.
