PDQ MR207 TJEW Wide Escutcheon Double Dummy with Active Trim - Grade 1
The PDQ MR207 TJEW is Double Dummy with Active Trim trim for the PDQ MR Series. It provides free-turning (active), non-operating lever trim -- there is no latch, deadbolt, or operating mechanism -- for push/pull applications and to visually match active MR Series mortise locksets on inactive door leaves, closet doors, and the inactive leaf of a pair of doors.
The Memphis (TJ) lever is solid forged brass with a clean, architectural aesthetic on a J-Series Wide Escutcheon in a US32D (630) Satin Stainless finish. Its "return-to-door" design is ADA compliant and helps prevent clothing, bags, or straps from snagging on the hardware in busy corridors.
Function: Double Dummy with Active Trim (no ANSI code)
Double Dummy with Active Trim mounts a free-turning (active) lever on both sides of the door with no operating mechanism:
- Movable outside lever.
- Movable inside lever.
EW Wide Escutcheon Trim
This is the EW wide-escutcheon version. The PDQ MR Series price list (effective March 3, 2025, page 13, "J Series Rose and Escutcheon Lock Adjustment") lists the J-Trim escutcheon in two widths:
- EJ -- Standard Width Escutcheon: 1-3/4" W x 7-5/8" H.
- EW -- Wide Width Escutcheon: 2-9/16" W x 8" H.
EW is listed as a lock adjustment -- an addition to the EJ list price -- so the trim, mounting and door preparation are unchanged; only the escutcheon plate is wider. PDQ publishes a single escutcheon door-prep template, W53505 Escutcheon Lever and Ball Knob Trim (MR205), which is not width-specific -- the EW uses the same door preparation as the EJ.

Finish availability: This J-Series dummy trim is offered in 630 (US32D Satin Stainless) as the base finish, plus premium architectural finishes 605, 606, 612, 613E, 622, 629. It is not offered in 626 (626 is an F-Series finish).
Handing: The Memphis lever is handed by its shape. Although this is dummy trim, specify the door hand when ordering -- LH (LHR) or RH (RHR) -- so the lever points correctly. Refer to the diagram above to determine the hand of your door.
