The National Guard Products GAP90NDKB is the GapGuard narrow-soffit fire-door head and jamb gap solution. NGP lists it as Fire Door Head / Jamb Gap Solutions for Narrow Soffit- Up To 180 Minutes. Catalog GAP6 kit is the 16-gauge steel stop extender 9945N (embossed UL mark), NGP-Edge intumescent and silicone bulb fire and smoke seal as 9945N + 9400C + 5050C. Use it when the frame soffit measures 1/2 inch to 1-3/8 inch. It closes excessive clearance between door and frame over 1/8 inch, up to 9/16 inch, on hollow metal fire doors rated up to 180 minutes and wood fire doors rated up to 90 minutes.
Same job as standard GAP90, built on the narrower 9945N stop extender. Sold as individual sticks (36 Inch, 48 Inch, 84 Inch). Standard-soffit GAP90 / GAP90DKB are separate listings. 5050C is listed separately as an accessory, not as a duplicate kit.
