NGP GAP90 GapGuard Fire Door Head and Jamb Gap Solution | Gray Primer
The National Guard Products GAP90 is a heavy-duty fire-door head and jamb gap solution in the GapGuard line. NGP lists it as Fire Door Head / Jamb Gap Solutions - Up To 180 Minutes. Catalog GAP5 kit is the 16-gauge steel stop extender 9945 (gray primer, UL mark), NGP-Edge intumescent 9400GR, and silicone bulb fire and smoke seal 5050C. It closes excessive clearance between door and frame over 1/8 inch, up to 9/16 inch, on hollow metal fire doors rated up to 180 minutes and wood fire doors rated up to 90 minutes.
Same job as screw-applied perimeter gasketing, built as a steel stop extender rather than a light aluminum housing.
