NGP 9200GR GapGuard 60-Min Intumescent Fire Seal | Gray
When a fire-door inspection fails at the head or jambs and the gap is past NFPA 80 (about 1/8 inch), replacing the frame is not the only repair. The National Guard Products 9200GR is a GapGuard self-adhesive intumescent for those smaller stop gaps. NGP lists it as GAPGUARD Intumescent Fire Seal. Catalog GAP17: up to 5/16 inch on 60-minute doors, and up to 3/8 inch on 20- and 45-minute doors. It may be installed on the door or on the frame. Finish on this listing: Gray. After it goes on, 9275 ASA or 9225 T-strike shims may be required so the latchbolt still engages.
NGP sells 9200 by the foot (3 foot minimum). This listing is cut 36 and 48 inch sticks. 96 inch is not offered here.
