The National Guard Products NGP 8813DKB is a commercial-grade thermal break saddle threshold, 8-1/8" wide by 1/4" high, extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum with a rigid thermoplastic thermal barrier that separates the interior and exterior aluminum to block thermal transfer, condensation, and frost at the opening - ideal for exterior doors in demanding climates.
ADA-Compliant, Barrier-Free Design
At just 1/4" high, the NGP 8813DKB provides an ADA-compliant transition that meets the ADA Standard for Accessible Design and ICC/ANSI A117.1.
Fire-Rated & Positive-Pressure Certified
The NGP 8813DKB is UL certified to CAN/ULC-S104 and ANSI/UL10B, and positive-pressure certified to ANSI/UL10C - complying with NFPA 80 and NFPA 252 for hollow metal fire doors rated up to 3 hours and wood fire doors rated up to 90 minutes.
BHMA Certified & Load Tested
Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.21 with a 1,000 lb. load test and listed in the BHMA Certified Products Directory - built for high-traffic commercial entryways.
