Pro-Tip for Perimeter Sealing
The NGP 160VA is designed to be surface applied directly to the frame stop on the head and both jambs. Before driving fasteners fully, take advantage of the slotted screw holes to shift the seal channel inward or outward until the TPV insert contacts the door face with even compression. Once position is confirmed, tighten the furnished #6 x 3/4" stainless steel sheet metal screws to lock the channel in place. Installing the head piece first and then fitting the jamb pieces up to it creates clean corner junctions and a continuous air and smoke barrier around the full door perimeter.
