The NGP 127N DKB is designed to be surface-applied directly to the frame stop on the push side of the door. Because the screw holes are slotted, installers can shift each piece slightly inward or outward before final tightening to achieve uniform neoprene compression across the head and both jambs. Use the furnished #6 x 3/4" stainless steel sheet metal screws to prevent fastener corrosion at the frame. For fire-rated openings, always confirm that the 127N is installed in accordance with the applicable UL listing and the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements under NFPA 80.
