The slotted holes allow you to shift the strip inward or outward before final tightening, ensuring consistent foam compression from top to bottom of each jamb and across the full width of the head. Install the head piece first as a reference, then hang each jamb piece to match. Because this set is cut to your selected opening size, no field trimming of the aluminum extrusion is required for standard openings.
