Functional Performance: Apartment/Corridor (8847)
- Toggle Security: The latchbolt is operated by the lever on either side unless the outside lever is secured via the stop-work activator (toggle).
- Dual-Action Locking: Features a 1" cast stainless steel deadbolt operated by a key from the exterior or a thumbturn from the interior.
- Automatic Lockdown: Once the deadbolt is projected, the exterior lever is automatically locked, preventing unauthorized entry.
- Anti-Panic Egress: In an emergency, turning the inside lever retracts both the latchbolt and the deadbolt simultaneously. To ensure continued security, the outside lever remains locked after the exit.
