Securitron MKAN2 Mortise Keyswitch - Alternate, DPDT, Narrow, Green/Red LED

Mortise keyswitch panel for electric lock control and alarm panel arming. Indoor use only. The cylinder and cam are supplied by the user.

Institutional Grade Features & Benefits

• Stainless steel 1-3/4 in narrow plate. This SKU is alternate, DPDT.
• The assembly includes the face plate, bicolor LED part 030-12500, and the bracket.
• Accepts a 1-1/8 in or 1-1/4 in mortise cylinder. A 1-1/2 in cylinder needs a spacer ring so it protrudes 1/4 in behind the face plate.
• Switch wires: white is common, red is normally closed, and blue is normally open. Contacts handle up to 3 amps.
• The switch body is stamped 8Y2011 or 206N.
• LED black is DC negative. Red is +VDC for red, and green is +VDC for green. Leave both resistors on the black wire for 24 VDC. Remove the outer resistor for 12 VDC.
• Do not power red and green at the same time with those resistors in place. For orange, remove both and fit 620 ohm 1/2 watt resistors on the color wires for 12 VDC, or 1300 ohm 1 watt resistors for 24 VDC.
• A bat cam uses a higher switch position than a cloverleaf cam. Threadlock is supplied, and a brass ring nut secures the cylinder.
