Important Installation & Egress Notes
A magnetic lock is not a complete egress solution on its own. This device must be paired with appropriate latching hardware and a fire-alarm release interface per applicable codes. A standalone push button does not satisfy sole-means-of-egress requirements. This model does not include an offset strike, split strike, or shock-absorbing strike — order those accessories separately if required. This is not a PoE (Power over Ethernet) model; a dedicated access-control power supply is required. Do not use lithium or NiMH batteries with Securitron AQD or AQS power supplies.
