Important Egress & Installation Notes

An electromagnetic lock is not a complete egress solution on its own. The M82FB must be paired with appropriate latching hardware and fire-alarm release per local codes. A standalone push button is not an acceptable sole means of egress release. This model does not include an offset strike, split strike, or shock-absorbing strike — order those components separately as required by your opening. The M82FB is not a PoE (Power over Ethernet) model. Do not use lithium or NiMH batteries with Securitron AQD or AQS power supplies in the same system.
