Dorma 8300A Rim Exit Device for 48" Wide Door
The Dorma 8300A is a Grade 1 wide-stile rim exit device for wide-stile wood or metal doors. This page is the factory A rail (48 in door), function 01 Exit Only -- no outside trim. The 36 in rail is the 8300B listing.
Grade 1 Strength and Universal Design
Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1, the Dorma 8000 Series uses a deadlocking latch bolt and stays non-handed. This listing is A (doors 34 to 48 in).
Advanced Security and Electrified Integration
This 8300A is the mechanical panic device: UL / cUL panic listed, not fire-labeled. Fire-labeled F8300 is a separate listing. The 8000 order block lists factory options including ES, MS, and LM. Those options are not on this 01 Exit Only page.

- Non-handed rim: the 8000 brochure data table marks the 8300 as non-handed. Order rail length; handing is not a factory option on this rim.
