Dorma F9400A Fire-Rated SVR Exit Device
The Dorma F9400A is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 fire-labeled surface vertical rod exit device for wide-stile wood or metal fire pairs that cannot take a mullion. The F prefix is the fire label, not a function. This page is the factory A rail (48 in door), function 01 Exit Only, default RHR. Panic 9400A and the 36 in F9400B are separate listings.
Grade 1 Strength and Universal Design
Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1, the fire-labeled 9400 latches top and bottom so the pair stays clear in the middle. Final hardware must match the opening fire rating and the AHJ.

This F9400A is the fire-labeled mechanical SVR. A published hourly rating and UL file number are not claimed here. The 9000 order block lists factory options including MLR, ES, MS, and LM. Those options are not on this 01 Exit Only page.

The Dorma F9400A ships as a 48 in A rail, default RHR, with no hex-key dogging. Choose 630 satin stainless or 689 sprayed aluminum on this page. The 36 in fire SVR is F9400B. Panic 9400A is separate.
