Dorma BSHD Heavy-Duty Blade Stop Spacer
The Dorma BSHD is the heavy-duty blade-stop spacer. Price List 38 lists it at $45 for heavy-duty door saver and super parallel arms. The 8600 brochure (printed p.30) sizes the drawing at 4 x 1 x 1/2 in.
Use it with the spacer that ships on the DS or SPA arm. The 7400 note says BSHD mirrors the 8600 part.
Does BSHD replace the spacer that comes with the DS/SPA arm?
No. The 8600 brochure says BSHD is used in conjunction with the spacer furnished with the arm -- it does not replace that spacer.
BS vs BSHD?
BS (3-1/2 in long) is for P86 / PHB / PD. BSHD (4 in long) is for DS / SPA.
