Dorma BS Blade Stop Spacer
The Dorma BS is the blade-stop spacer. Price List 38 lists it at $40 for P86, PHB, and PD. The 8600 brochure (printed p.30) sizes the drawing at 3-1/2 x 1 x 1/2 in and says it provides clearance for an applied blade stop.
The 7400 note says BS mirrors the 8600 part. This page is the spacer only -- it does not include P86, PHB, or PD.
Do I use BS or BSHD?
BS is the spacer for standard parallel brackets (P86, PHB, PD). BSHD is the heavy-duty spacer for DS and SPA arms, used with the spacer that ships on the arm.
