Dorma 9400C SVR Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device for 30" Wide Door
The Dorma 9400C is a heavy-duty, Grade 1 surface vertical rod exit device for wide-stile wood or metal pairs that cannot take a mullion. This page is the factory C rail (30 in door), function 01 Exit Only, default RHR. The 36 in device is 9400B. The 48 in device is 9400A. It is not the hyphenated 9400-630 string.
Grade 1 Strength and Universal Design
Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Grade 1, the 9400 latches top and bottom so the pair stays clear in the middle. Specify 7 ft or 8 ft door height -- factory rods are precut for those heights.
Advanced Security and Electrified Integration
This 9400C is the mechanical panic SVR, not F9400. The 9000 order block lists factory options including MLR, ES, MS, and LM. Those options are not on this 01 Exit Only page. 9400C 630 is the complete lettered device; hyphenated 9400-630 is a different, cheaper string.
