The Sargent 351 PS Door Closer is a premier, heavy-duty surface closer engineered for the most demanding high-traffic commercial and institutional environments. Part of the industry-leading Powerglide® series, the 351 PS features a Heavy Duty Parallel Arm with an integrated Positive Stop. This specialized arm mechanically limits the door's opening range (adjustable between 85° and 110°), protecting the door, frame, and adjacent walls from damage without the need for an external overhead stop.

Constructed from a unique 14% silicon aluminum alloy, the one-piece die-cast body provides superior strength and wear resistance. The heat-treated full closed rack and pinion ensures total hydraulic control throughout the entire door cycle. This ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 closer is fully adjustable from Size 1 to 6, making it a robust solution that meets all ADA accessibility requirements while providing the power needed for large exterior or fire-rated doors.

The Sargent 351 PS is designed for a secure "push side" parallel arm installation. The package includes a high-impact, non-corrosive plastic cover and all necessary fasteners, including machine screws and self-tapping screws. For maximum stability on wood or mineral core doors, it is recommended to use the included thru bolts.
