The Don-Jo AST-21342 Security Strike is a heavy-duty, 13-gauge (.095) ferrous steel security strike measuring 1-3/4" wide by 18" tall — purpose-built to reinforce the strike jamb on doors where two latch holes at 3-5/8" or 4" centers are required. Unlike a standard ASA strike, this security strike extends the full 18" along the doorframe, dramatically increasing the bearing surface and resistance to forced entry at the latch point. Constructed from 13-gauge (.095) ferrous steel, it delivers substantial frame protection where a thinner or shorter plate would leave the jamb vulnerable. The Don-Jo AST-21342 is available in three finish options — silver lacquer (SL), bright brass (BP), and white (WH) — allowing it to coordinate with the door hardware finish already specified for the opening.
