Don-Jo 1704 Adjustable Roller Latch
The Don-Jo 1704 is an adjustable roller latch in cast brass with a solid nylon roller for silent operation. It holds a door closed by spring pressure against a strike, with no latch bolt to operate — push or pull and the door opens.
Roller latches suit closet, pantry, utility and dummy-trim doors where the door should stay shut but nobody needs a latch bolt. This model is furnished with the 1-1/4" x 4-7/8" (ASA) strike for hollow metal frames. Roller latches are not a locking or fire-rated latching device.
