Don-Jo 1700 Adjustable Roller Latch
The Don-Jo 1700 is an adjustable roller latch in cast brass with a solid nylon roller for silent operation. It holds a door closed by spring pressure against a strike, with no latch bolt to operate — push or pull and the door opens.
Roller latches suit closet, pantry, utility and dummy-trim doors where the door should stay shut but nobody needs a latch bolt. This model is furnished with the 1-11/16" x 2-1/4" strike for wood frames. Roller latches are not a locking or fire-rated latching device.
