Don-Jo 1580 Surface Bolt
The Don-Jo 1580 is an 8" surface bolt. The bolt runs in two surface-mounted guides and throws into a rim or mortise strike; 1-1/8" bolt throw.
UL-rated per the Don-Jo catalog and furnished with rim and mortise strikes. Surface bolts secure the inactive leaf of a pair, or a single door from one side, where a flush bolt is not practical. For a keyed version see the Don-Jo 1579; for a non-rated utility bolt see the 1582.
