Don-Jo 1560 Automatic Flush Bolt Pair
The Don-Jo 1560 is a pair of automatic flush bolts for fire-rated metal doors. Mortised into the edge of the inactive leaf, the bolts throw into the head and sill when the active leaf closes and retract when it opens, so the pair always latches without anyone operating the inactive door.
Automatic flush bolts are what the code requires where a labeled pair cannot rely on manual bolts. The 1560 is listed for metal doors labeled A, B, C, D and E, is non-handed, and needs only 5 lb of force (ADA). Pair it with a dust proof strike in the floor.
