Don-Jo 1557 Manual Flush Bolt
The Don-Jo 1557 is a manual flush bolt for wood doors, mortised into the edge of the inactive leaf of a pair to bolt it into the head and sill. 3/4" throw, 3/4" backset; the door’s strength is maintained by a corner reinforcement plate.
Use manual flush bolts on non-fire pairs where the inactive leaf stays fixed most of the time. On a labeled fire pair use the automatic version (Don-Jo 1560 metal / 1562 wood). Pair with a dust proof strike in the floor.
