Lock Operation Detailed

The Corbin Russwin ML2067 RWR is a heavy-duty Grade 1 Apartment or Dormitory mortise lockset on Regis Wrought Lever x R Escutcheon (RWR) trim. It is built on the ML2000 Series platform and is certified to A156.13 Series 1000, Operational and Security Grade 1.
Apartment Function -- What It Means
The Apartment or Dormitory function (ANSI/BHMA F20) locks the outside grip by a toggle-action stop or by projection of the deadbolt. Latchbolt by grip either side unless the outside is locked that way. Deadbolt thrown or retracted by key outside or by thumbturn grip inside. Latchbolt and deadbolt retracted by key when the outside grip is locked by the toggle-action stop. The inside grip simultaneously retracts latchbolt and deadbolt; the outside grip remains locked. The outside grip is unlocked by the toggle-action stop. An auxiliary latch deadlocks the latchbolt. An indicator, when specified, shows deadbolt position only.
