Privacy Bedroom Function -- What It Means
The Privacy Bedroom or Bathroom function (ANSI/BHMA F02) is a non-keyed lockset with a latchbolt and a deadbolt -- there is no cylinder. Latchbolt by grip either side when the deadbolt is retracted. Deadbolt by thumbturn grip inside or by emergency release tool outside. The catalog prints non-panic release and no simultaneous deadbolt and latch retraction. When lever handles are furnished, both outside and inside are locked when the deadbolt is projected. This function is not available with M19S or M19SN.
