The Accentra VICN 8870FLDT (formerly Yale 8800 Series) is a heavy-duty Active Dummy Trim Function mortise dummy trim built for commercial and institutional openings. It is certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Series 1000, Grade 1 -- the highest operational and security grade the standard defines -- and carries the Virginia (VICN) lever on the Camden escutcheon.
Available in fourteen architectural finishes, it is handed -- give the hand when ordering -- and ships with the door prep and installation drawings for the trim shown.
FIRE-RATED DOOR LIMITATION
This product is manufactured to UL standards, but it has no latchbolt and cannot self-latch, so it may not serve as the primary latching device on a fire-rated opening. Dummy trim may be applied to the inactive leaf of a pair of fire-rated doors, where the active leaf carries the latching device. Confirm the assembly listing and consult the authority having jurisdiction.
