The Accentra HAR 855FL (formerly Yale 8800 Series) is a heavy-duty Dummy Trim One Side Function mortise dummy trim built for commercial and institutional openings. It is certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Series 1000, Grade 1 -- the highest operational and security grade the standard defines -- and carries the Hampton (HAR) lever on the standard rose.
Available in five architectural finishes, it ships with the door prep and installation drawings for the trim shown.
FIRE-RATED DOOR LIMITATION
This product is manufactured to UL standards, but it has no latchbolt and cannot self-latch, so it may not serve as the primary latching device on a fire-rated opening. Dummy trim may be applied to the inactive leaf of a pair of fire-rated doors, where the active leaf carries the latching device. Confirm the assembly listing and consult the authority having jurisdiction.
Function Details: Dummy Trim One Side
- A Pull, Not a Lock: Push or pull only — there is no lock mechanism of any kind here -- the trim mounts to the door and serves as a handle.
- Trim on One Face Only: Knob/lever one side — the door carries trim on a single face and none on the other, so which face is trimmed has to be stated when the order is placed.
- The Lever Does Not Turn: Knob/lever non-operational and rigid at all times — this lever is rigid -- a fixed handle for pushing and pulling the door; it does not rotate and it operates nothing.
- Offered on a Limited Trim Set: Function only available with CO, R3, R4, R5 roses or CN escutcheon — only those carriers are built with this function, so the trim is chosen from that list rather than from the full range.
