The wide stile design is optimized for standard aluminum door profiles with a 4-1/2" minimum stile width.

The AD8610 is designed to adapt to your facility’s specific needs. For high-traffic areas where floor strikes are undesirable, it can be configured as a "Less Bottom Rod" (NB-AD8610) device. The NB configuration eliminates the bottom strike, providing an obstacle-free threshold for wheelchairs and carts. For modern security setups, the device supports various electric options, including Remote Latch Retraction (56-) and Request-to-Exit (55-). To ensure a simplified, professional installation, we recommend using the QC12 Electrolynx connector on the associated hinge for a reliable "plug-and-play" power connection.

Ordering Information & Handing

To ensure a perfect fit, Sargent rails are factory-cut to size; please provide the exact door width upon order placement. Additionally, door handing information (LHRB or RHRB) is required to ensure the device and any associated trim are correctly configured for your opening. For doors thicker than 1-3/4", specify the dimensions and use the 31- prefix.
