What Is the Dormitory / Exit Function?

• A key or thumb turn on the inside projects or retracts the deadbolt.
• Levers on either side always retract the latch bolt — occupants are never trapped inside.
• When the deadbolt is projected, the outside lever is locked; a valid key is required for entry.
• When an occupant pushes the inside lever with the deadbolt projected, the lever simultaneously retracts both the latch bolt and the deadbolt, allowing exit while automatically securing the door behind them.
