Sargent Mfg. 773-4 ETL US26D x 24 VDC Outside Trim, Storeroom - Fail Safe

This is intended for:
- Narrow Stile (8400 Series) and Wide Stile (8600 Series) Mortise Exit Devices
The Sargent 773-4 ETL is a high-performance electrified outside trim designed for advanced access control on Concealed Vertical Rod (CVR) and Mortise exit devices. Engineered for the Sargent 80 Series, specifically the 8400 Narrow Stile and 8600 Wide Stile series, this trim provides a secure, remote-controlled entry solution. Featuring Fail-Safe operation, the lever automatically unlocks when power is removed, making it a critical component for stairwell re-entry and life-safety applications.
Energy-Efficient Security with EcoFlex™
This electrified trim is equipped with Sargent’s EcoFlex technology, offering a sophisticated and sustainable approach to building security.
- Fail-Safe (Power-to-Lock) Functionality: The lever is unlocked when power is off, ensuring the door can be opened during power failures or fire emergencies. This is ideal for openings where re-entry is required by code during an alarm.
- EcoFlex™ Technology: Dramatically reduces energy consumption by up to 95% compared to traditional electrified trims. The ultra-low 15mA continuous draw reduces heat buildup and allows for more devices to be powered by a single supply.
- Rugged Vandal Resistance: The 700 Series ETL design is through-bolted to the door chassis, providing ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 durability that withstands heavy-use environments like schools and hospitals.
- Seamless Aesthetic Integration: Finished in US26D (626) Satin Chrome, this trim provides visual continuity with other architectural hardware from brands like Hager, Accentra (Yale), and Corbin Russwin.

Ordering and Installation Requirements
- Handing Information: This trim is handed and is not field-reversible. You must specify Left Hand Reverse (LHR) or Right Hand Reverse (RHR) based on your door swing when placing your order.
- No Key Override: The 773 function does not include a cylinder. For applications requiring a manual key backup, please inquire about the 775 ETL series.
- Power Supply: For optimal performance and to protect the EcoFlex actuator, use a regulated and filtered 24VDC power supply.

Special Note: The door handing information is needed upon order placement. If you are unsure of the handing of your door, please compare the picture below to your opening for clarification.
