Advanced Fire Protection & Life Safety
- Self-Latching Top Bolt: The top bolt automatically engages when the inactive door closes. It remains latched even when the active door is opened, releasing only when the user presses the plunger button on the bolt face.
- Eliminate Floor Obstructions: The included Bottom Fire Bolt replaces traditional bottom automatic flush bolts. By removing the floor strike, you create a seamless, barrier-free transition that is easier to clean and safer for foot traffic.
- Heat-Activated Security: Engineered for emergency performance; when temperatures reach 230°F, the thermal plug melts, allowing the fire bolt to project and lock the door leaves together to prevent fire spread.
