The PDQ MR214 OJSJ is an architectural-grade, Grade 1 Double Cylinder Deadbolt with Dummy Trim Mortise Lock for demanding, high-traffic commercial and institutional openings. It pairs the Orlando (OJ) lever -- a straight lever with a simple rounded end -- on a J-Series Sectional (round rose) in a US32D (630) Satin Stainless finish, and is engineered to exceed the rigorous standards of BHMA Series 1000. It is a double-cylinder mortise deadbolt with fixed (dummy) lever trim for openings that need key-both-sides deadbolt security and pull-side trim but no operating latch.
This is a dummy-trim configuration: the MR Series mortise case drives a 1" throw investment-cast stainless steel deadbolt only -- there is no latchbolt. The lever trim is fixed (non-latching) and provides pull-side trim; the inside lever rotates to retract the deadbolt for egress. Security is provided entirely by the keyed mortise deadbolt seated deep in the door pocket.
