While typical commercial locks are rated for one million cycles, the PDQ MR Series mechanical chassis is tested to over 11 million cycles -- extending the hardware lifespan by 11 times the industry standard. This motor-driven electrified mortise lockset is built for institutional and secure openings that require key control from both sides, and integrates with building access-control systems and power supplies.
Constructed with a heavy-duty 12-gauge cold rolled steel mechanism, the MR200 provides a formidable defense against unauthorized entry. The Miami (MIA) lever offers a clean, architectural aesthetic in a US26D Satin Chrome finish. Function: Electrified Institutional (Electrified, no ANSI code)
The Electrified Institutional function controls the latchbolt by key from both the outside and the inside, with the trim electrically locked or unlocked by a motor drive (fail secure by default, field changeable to fail safe):
