The PDQ MR126 BJEJ is an architectural-grade, Grade 1 Passage Function Mortise Lock for high-traffic commercial environments. It pairs the Boston (BJ) lever -- a curved lever that sweeps toward the door -- on a J-Series Escutcheon in a US32D (630) Satin Stainless finish, and is engineered to exceed the rigorous standards of BHMA Series 1000. It suits corridor, closet, and other openings that need a latch to hold the door closed but never need to lock. Its "return-to-door" design is ADA compliant and helps prevent clothing, bags, or straps from snagging on the hardware in busy corridors.
Built to withstand punishing institutional use, the MR Series uses a heavy-duty forged brass and stainless steel internal mechanism inside a deep mortise cassette -- providing significantly higher forced-entry protection than standard cylindrical locks, the industry standard for schools, hospitals, and government offices.
