The Hager BB1543 4" x 4" is a specialized residential security hinge designed for doors with unique mortise requirements. This hinge features a Half Square / Half Radius configuration—one hinge leaf is designed with square corners, while the other features a 5/8" radius rounded corner. This makes it the perfect solution for matching a square-cut door with a radius-cut frame (or vice versa) without the need for additional mortising.
Constructed from Non-Ferrous materials, the BB1543 is available in either Solid Brass or Stainless Steel. Because these materials do not contain iron, they are naturally rust-proof, making this hinge the ideal choice for exterior doors in coastal environments or high-humidity regions.
High-Security NRP Engineering
For maximum protection, this hinge is equipped with a Non-Removable Pin (NRP). This is a critical security upgrade for any home:

Installation & Maintenance
