Durable Engineering & Secure Mounting
The Hager 47BT is designed for "Blank Escutcheon" passage use, meaning it does not require a cylinder and cannot be locked. To ensure a permanent, high-strength installation that can handle the constant use of a passage opening, the trim includes thru bolts as standard hardware. This creates a rigid, through-the-door connection that prevents the escutcheon from shifting or sagging, even on heavy commercial doors.
