The Don-Jo FL-208N Security Strike is a heavy-duty, single-hole security strike engineered to reinforce the door frame at the point where a key-in-knob or deadbolt latch engages. Don-Jo Manufacturing forms this strike from 13-gauge (.095) ferrous steel — robust material that resists spreading and deformation under lateral force — then cuts it to a 1-3/8" wide by 8" tall profile that distributes stress across a far greater surface area than a standard box strike. The elongated plate anchors deep into the frame behind the jamb, making it the preferred security strike specification for replacement and new-construction doors where a single bolt or latch must be adequately protected. Available in three finishes — silver lacquer (SL), bright brass (BP), and white (WH) — the FL-208N coordinates with most residential and light-commercial hardware finishes without special order.
