The Corbin Russwin ML2055 RWN is a heavy-duty Grade 1 Classroom mortise lockset on Regis Wrought Lever x N Escutcheon (RWN) trim. It is built on the ML2000 Series platform and is certified to A156.13 Series 1000, Operational and Security Grade 1.
Classroom Function -- What It Means
The Classroom function (ANSI/BHMA F05) lets a key lock the outside grip. Latchbolt by grip either side unless the outside grip is locked by key outside. When the outside is locked, the latchbolt is retracted from outside by key. The outside grip remains locked unless unlocked by key. The inside grip is always free for egress. An auxiliary latch deadlocks the latchbolt when the door is closed. This function is not available with an indicator -- the catalog directs that specification to ML2003.
