About Thermal Barrier Thresholds

• Thermal Barrier thresholds are manufactured with a rigid vinyl strip separating two pieces of aluminum. The vinyl strip provides a break in the threshold that reduces the transfer of hot and cold temperatures from one side to the other.

The Pemko Thermal Barrier Saddles Threshold features a Mill Finish Aluminum construction, ensuring durability and resilience. Available in various lengths—36", 48", 72", and 96"—these thresholds come with a standard 5-1/8" width and a 1/2" height.

The innovative design incorporates a rigid vinyl key, which serves as a critical thermal break. This element effectively minimizes the transfer of heat and cold, maintaining energy efficiency and comfort on both sides of the threshold.
